Jason Vaughan (PGA of Canada)
Director of Golf, Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo

As member of the PGA of Canada since 2000, Jason brings ample experience to the Wood Buffalo community, where he has called home since 2006. He has an extensive background in golf, which includes completing the Golf Management Program at Lethbridge College. Jason has been a regular participant in PGA of Alberta events, as well as the Mackenzie Tours Syncrude Boreal Open presented by Aecon from 2011-2015. Prior to joining Miskanaw Golf Club, Jason was the Head Golf Professional at Fort McMurray Golf Club for 10-years. He worked at Balgowlah Golf Club in Sydney, Australia as a teaching professional and later as assistant golf professional at the Jagare Ridge Golf Club in Edmonton, Alberta.

Chris McKenzie (PGA of Canada)
Head Golf Professional, Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo

Chris completed the Professional Golf Management Program at Holland College on Prince Edward Island, during that time he had the honour of volunteering in the PGA tour Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. During school he worked at the renowned Bell Bay Golf Club on Cape Breton Island. Upon graduation, Chris accepted a position at the Royal Mayfair Golf & Country Club, in Edmonton Alberta where he spent three years and had the pleasure of hosting the CN Canadian Women’s open. While in Edmonton he passed the CPGA Playing Ability Test, and moved to Fort McMurray 2011 and two years later began his role at the Miskanaw Golf Club.
