Fort McMurray Cubs Junior Golf Team
Elevate your young golfer’s game to an ace level with the Fort McMurray Cubs Junior Golf Team! Our innovative program, launched in 2023, is designed to foster skill development and a love for golf within a dynamic team environment. Think hockey or soccer, but with irons and putters.
The first year, we proudly welcomed 36 spirited junior golfers to our inaugural team. They’ve since embarked on a journey of growth, both on the green and in life. With expert guidance from Miskanaw’s seasoned professionals, complimentary access to the exclusive Cubs Course, and a focus on character building, our juniors are teeing up for a future filled with success.

Noral Toyota Junior Nights
Join us every Monday night, starting July 8, for an exhilarating and FREE golf clinic. Our PGA Canada Instructors are geared up to ignite your young golfer’s future passion for the game. Whether they are the duff champion or a seasoned pro in the making they are always welcome. Swing by, tee up, and let the fairways become their canvas for greatness!
Registration opens each week on the Tuesday prior.
SNAG: Starting New at Golf
SNAG is a fun and easy to learn system developed to simplify the process of learning golf. The SNAG equipment is color-coded and modified to enhance positive learning and playing experiences amongst all participants. Students will learn the fundamental components of a great golf swing: grip, stance, posture, alignment, takeaway, impact and follow through positioning. WB Kids support available for qualifying families.

Wood Buffalo Junior Open
Get ready to tee off with excitement at our Annual Regional Junior Open Golf Tournament! This isn’t just any tournament; it’s a fun day of golfing glory for our junior players. Choose your challenge: the classic 18-hole tournament for those ready to conquer the course, or the friendly 4-hole Cubs Course perfect for beginners finding their swing.
It’s all about the joy of the game, played in stroke play and sorted by age groups to keep the competition fair and fierce. And what’s a day on the greens without a grand feast to cap it off? Enjoy a delightful dinner (guardian included!) and a chance to win some fabulous prizes.
